Ferris State University
In partnership with Ferris, The Rapid operates a shuttle service between Rapid Central Station in Grand Rapids and the Big Rapids campus of FSU. This service is intended primarily for students, faculty, and staff, however, it will be open to the general public for a fare of $8/per one-way trip. FSU students can purchase a semester pass at Ferris that is good on this route only--not on other Rapid routes or services. The Rapid does not sell semester passes.
Students, faculty, and staff pay just 50 cents per ride with a Rapid Discount Card issued by the college. Calvin subsidizes the remainder of the fare.
