Transportation Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Rapid is seeking a Fare Enforcement Officer to join our team! This position conducts ongoing, random passenger fare check procedures of customers on the Bus Rapid Transit Routes. The Fare Enforcement Officer will have to provide high quality customer service to riders while educating them on fare purchases, route operations, and procedures.

Transit Vehicle Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:

Join The Rapid's Maintenance team as a third-shift Transit Vehicle Technician. We're seeking experienced diesel mechanics with knowledge in bench, shop, garage, and fieldwork in dismantling, assembling, installing, maintaining and repairing all units. The applicant should also have knowledge of electrical, engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension and axle, body, drivetrain, automotive equipment, and more. The pay for this position starts at $22.80 per hour with a +.75 shift premium after 90 days.

HIRING RANGE:
$22.80 - $28.40 per hour +.75 shift premium. Full benefits after 90 days.

Tire and Wheel Technician III

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Tire and Wheel Technician will perform routine maintenance and repair on fleet line haul buses, medium and light duty trucks and company car wheels and tires. To include but not limited to fleet tire inventory, inspection, repair, balancing, rotating, mounting and dismounting of wheels and tires. Conducts scheduling of maintenance on wheels and tires. Performs operation of tire balancing, mounting and dismounting machines.

SALARY RANGE:
$22.80-$28.40 per hour

Accounting Specialist - Payables

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Accounts Specialist (Payables) manages the work necessary to ensure accounts payable invoices are processed in a timely and efficient manner while following company controls and policies. Communication with outside vendors as well as internal staff to resolve issues surrounding payment and nonpayment of invoices. Collection and reconciliation of fare revenue by cash and e-fare. Develop, maintain entry of ticket sales database.

SALARY RANGE:
$42,508 - $47,609, Salary will commensurate with experience.

Mobility Assistant Intern

POSITION SUMMARY:
This internship will expose the intern to the public transit industry, specifically paratransit services. The Intern will Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries regarding service eligibility, scheduling/reservations and operations. Maintain system and contract carrier information to handle questions and resolve complaints.
