Silver Line Leaving Rapid Central Station Jan 2021

Transit guide available for DeVos Place Vaccination clinic

The Rapid provides mobility information for large-scale clinic.

The Rapid published a reminder and guide for West Michigan residents to access the West Michigan Vaccine clinic via public transit today.

The guide, available on all of The Rapid’s digital channels (and attached below), highlights bus routes that directly serve DeVos Place, including two DASH routes (Downtown Area Shuttle) operated by The Rapid on behalf of the City of Grand Rapids. In addition to regular bus routes, GO!Bus paratransit service is available for all eligible GO!Bus riders. Regular fares apply to The Rapid’s fixed-route buses and GO!Bus, and DASH service is free.

For those traveling into downtown Grand Rapids from the southern portion of The Rapid’s service area, a free park and ride lot is available at 60th Street and Division Avenue that is directly served by the Silver Line.
Schedule details, trip planning resources and additional information is available at ridetherapid.org.

The West Michigan Vaccine clinic is a collaboration between Kent County, Spectrum Health, Mercy Health, and Vaccinate West Michigan. Vaccination is available by appointment only. For information on eligibility and appointments, please visit vaccinatewestmi.com.

The Rapid reminds all riders that masks are required to board Rapid buses. For more information on COVID-19 safety protocols, please visit ridetherapid.org/coronavirus.
