S2 Yachts in Holland, MI has created Energetx in order to diversify into emerging markets. By capitalizing on their composite capabilities, Energetx is benefiting other commercial sectors. Now along with boats, they will be manufacturing products for other industries such as green energy, defense and public transportation.
This initiative is projected to create manufacturing jobs in West Michigan over the next several years. Energetx estimates hiring 160 employees by the end of 2010 and 1000 by 2014.
