The Rapid hereby gives notice that two public meetings will be held to present the proposed realignment of Route 19.

The Rapid hereby gives notice that two public meetings will be held to present the proposed realignment of Route 19. If approved, changes will be implemented later this year, either in May or August 2016. There is no additional cost to provide this service.

  • Route 19 is the lowest performing route in terms of ridership.
  • The proposed realignment would provide 15-minute peak service on Michigan along with Route 13 Michigan/Fuller-North.
  • High demand for new service to the Oak Industrial Dr. area for employment purposes.
  • High demand for better transit connections to the Bridge and Seward area.

Both public hearings will be held at Rapid Central Station, Conference Room – 2nd floor.  A language interpreter is available upon request. Please contact Ronda Frazer at 456-7514.
