One week after the Rapid's Silver Line route debuted, officials say they've transported thousands of passengers.

Early statistics indicate Michigan's first bus rapid transit system drew at least 2,000 passengers each day from launch on Monday, Aug. 25, though Friday, Aug. 29, according to data supplied from The Rapid. The Silver Line carried 3,186 riders on Aug. 28, its busiest day.
