Indy Connect is Central Indiana's transportation initiative that is seeking public comment on a draft plan that includes multiple modes of transportation. It is meant to connect people to people and people to places in Central Indiana through expanded roads, commuter and light rail, enhanced bus service, as well as bike and pedestrian walkways. Indy Connect is an unprecedented collaboration of private industry and public entities working toward a defined regional transportation future. Building on decades of research and the recommendations of a private sector-led task force, Indy Connect is asking the public to help shape a regional transportation system that could benefit all Central Indiana communities.
