If you’re riding with us today or tomorrow, temperatures are expected to be dangerously cold. The National Weather Service has warned that frostbite can occur after fifteen minutes of exposure or less. Please be sure to dress for extreme cold and minimize your time spent outside.

Dressing for Extreme Cold

  • Consider wearing 3-4 layers on top and bottom.
  • Wear a hat and scarf to cover as much of your face as possible. Ski masks are ideal.
  • Cover your mouth to protect your lungs from the extreme cold.
  • Thick gloves that are snug at the wrist are essential.
  • Layer your socks and wear waterproof boots.
  • Try to stay as dry as possible.
