Rapid On Demand Pilot to End Service on March 13, 2020

Rapid On Demand, The Rapid's eight-month pilot program testing the interest and usefulness for on-demand paratransit service will end at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020. As of that time, you will no longer be able to book or take rides, and all paratransit rides operated by The Rapid will revert to the previously existing service.

It has been a pleasure to administer this pilot, and we sincerely hope that you have found the on-demand style of paratransit this pilot has offered to be useful, responsive, and reliable. As The Rapid assesses the potential for this type of service in the future to better serve the Grand Rapids metro area community, we would be delighted to hear from you and welcome your feedback on the pilot program via gro.diparehtedir@ofni.
