Enhancing Cleaning Protocols During COVID-19
The Rapid team is doing everything we can to ensure the health and safety of our employees and riders.
The Rapid is now treating all vehicles and facilities with an anti-microbial agent that will prevent the growth and survival of viruses, germs, micro-organisms, etc.

The product, AEGIS®, can protect surfaces for an extended period of time (up to 12 months)

The Rapid will test surfaces treated with this product monthly for the presence of enzymes that indicate contamination

Daily and nightly cleaning and disinfection will continue to take place in addition to the use of this product

All vehicles are on a rolling deep-clean schedule (10 are deep cleaned every week)
Throughout the pandemic, The Rapid has been focused on the continued enhancement of cleaning and safety protocols. From implementing vehicle cleaning pit crews at Rapid Central Station to our newest efforts with antimicrobial sprays, we are determined to keep transit safe and get our passengers to work, medical appointments, school, and more.
