We met at a bar downtown called Mojo’s – it’s a piano bar. I think her mom told her that she would never meet anyone worth knowing at the bar.
Danielle:
And then I met my husband there.
Turner:
We are definitely, completely opposite.
Danielle:
He’s black and white, and I’m really rosy with the way I look at things.
Turner:
We always end up agreeing in the end, but in the beginning we always have totally different viewpoints in what we are going to do.
Danielle:
The Rapid allows me to connect with my community and I think that’s the biggest part for me – just being able to be out in my community instead of in my own personal car and then also to really connect to what’s going on in the community.
Turner:
The Rapid allows me to save money by not owning a car and save that money for our family’s future.
We both agree that taking the bus is the best form of transportation.
I think it’s important to have that flexibility, and that freedom, and that independence – to be able to, you know, live your life how you want to versus how the bank wants you to or how the credit card companies want you to.
Turner:
Nos conocimos en un bar del centro llamado Mojo’s – es un piano bar. Creo que su madre le dijo que nunca iba a conocer a nadie interesante en un bar.
Danielle:
Y entonces conocí a mi marido allí.
Turner:
Definitivamente, somos completamente opuestos.
Danielle:
Para él todo es blanco y negro, y yo soy optimista en la forma de ver las cosas.
Turner:
Al final siempre nos ponemos de acuerdo, pero al principio tenemos puntos de vista totalmente diferentes sobre lo que vamos a hacer.
Danielle:
The Rapid permite conectarme con mi comunidad y creo que eso es lo más importante para mí – simplemente poder estar fuera en mi comunidad en vez de en mi propio automóvil y después conectarme también de verdad con lo que pasa en ella.
Turner:
The Rapid me permite ahorrar dinero al no tener un automóvil y dedicar ese dinero para el futuro de nuestra familia.
Los dos estamos de acuerdo en que el autobús es la mejor forma de transporte.
Creo que es importante tener esa flexibilidad, esa libertad, y esa independencia – para poder, ya sabes, vivir tu vida de la forma que quieres en vez cómo el banco o las compañías de tarjetas de crédito quieren que la vivas.
