Beginning on Monday, February 4, 2013, Route 44 (44th Street) will go on detour near Breton and Walma to test a new loop pattern near Kentwood City Hall. The purpose of testing this detour is to simplfy the route for both passengers and Bus Operators, and to improve schedule adherence.
Route 44 eastbound will travel east on 44th street, turn right on Walma, and loop around to Breton before proceeding north to Woodland Mall.
Route 44 westbound will travel south on Breton through 44th street, loop around on Walma, then turn left on 44th street to head west.
