We've seen a lot of changes in the ten years The Rapid has been in existence. Many new services have been put into place to better meet the growing demand, including new routes, better frequencies, and more evening and weekend service. More service has meant more riders--ridership has more than doubled in the past ten years. The fleet has also changed over time. Buses are newer and better equipped. We have new ticket and payment options. We've installed new shelters and informational kiosks at bus stops to better connect you with the information you need. And we've invested significantly in providing a safe and secure environment for our passengers and employees.

One thing that hasn't changed is The Rapid's commitment to moving people in and around the greater Grand Rapids area in a cost-effective, efficient manner. We strive for excellent customer service and are committed to being good stewards of the public funds we receive.
